Volunteer Info

At Save the FoodBasket, our volunteers are the lifeblood of the organization.  They are the ones interacting with clients, delivering services, and conducting the day to day business.

We are currently looking for volunteers

in the following positions:

Bakers – Volunteer your baking skills on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays by helping to prepare desserts for our biweekly luncheons.

Dishwashers – Help clean up in the kitchen on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays after our biweekly luncheons by washing pots and pans, wiping down counters and stovetops, and putting away leftovers.

Breakdown – Help clean up Weaver’s Hall on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays after our biweekly luncheons by putting away tables and chairs and sweeping and mopping the floor. 

Greeters – Greet new clients, show them around and make them feel more at home on Tuesdays and/or Thursday at our biweekly luncheons.
