Volunteer Info

At Save the FoodBasket, our volunteers are the lifeblood of the organization.  They are the ones interacting with clients, delivering services, and conducting the day-to-day business.

We are currently looking for volunteers

in the following positions:

Delivery Drivers – Deliver groceries once a month for a few hours on the west side of Oahu.  Fuel reimbursement available.

Kitchen Help - Assist in preparing our twice-weekly hot lunches for clients on Tuesdays and Thursdays (except for first week of the month).

Foodbank workers – Help organize and sort groceries at the Hawaii Foodbank near Sand Island. Our assigned volunteer day is generally on Wednesday.  Some lifting of boxes of up to 40 lbs.
